Young also served as the team's primary kick returner his senior season and his 592 return yards gave him the third highest single season total in St. Joseph's College history.
Washington started his football career at Detroit's Cooley Highand later took his football talents to Lakeland College where he was a standout on the defensive line.
He spent the 2008 outdoor season with the Wolfpack where he was named a Northern Conference All-Star..
Washington has a year of indoor experience under his belt after spending last season with the Milwaukee Bonecrushers.
"Whenever you can add two quality players like DeQwan and James to your roster, you're going to be a better team," said Wolfpack defensive coordinator Pete Kishline. "We expect both to make great contributions on the defensive side of the ball."
Young and Washington will get their first opportunity to contribute to the team on Saturday, April 4, as the Wolfpack host divisional rivals, the Rock River Raptors, at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Great seats are still available for purchase through Ticketmaster.
