
Skyrockets Sign New Point Guard

Minot, ND - December 16, 2006 - The Minot Skyrockets have signed a new point guard, Tony Bennett, from Bradley University (NCAA-MVC). Bennett played for the Bradley Braves from 2004-2006. In the 2004-2005 season, he averaged 11.8 ppg, 3.6 rpg, and 2.4 apg. He was also named to MVC Newcomer Team. In 2005-2006, Bennett averaged 10.6 ppg, 3.4 rpg, and 2.7 apg and helped the Braves to the MVC Tournament Finals and the NCAA Sweet 16.
"Unforseen circumstances forced us to make another change. We will continue to bring in new players to continue to win games," said Head Coach Chris Daleo.
The Minot Skyrockets are heading on a 5-game road trip. Fans can watch the live play-by-play webcast online at www.cbahoopsonline.com. The next home game will be January 2nd against the Indiana Alley Cats.
