950 WPEN Now Has Soul

PHILADELPHIA - As announced yesterday on the Jody McDonald Show, the Philadelphia Soul and "The New Sports Talk 950" will team up to have all 16 Soul regular season games along with any postseason games broadcast live on "The New Sports Talk 950" for the next two years.

"We are excited that the Soul have found a home on Sports Talk 950 for years to come," General Manager Rich Lisk said. "Sports Talk 950 is the new sports talk station in town and we look to build a great relationship with them."

The exclusive deal includes live play-by-play coverage for all 16 regular season games and playoffs, a pre and a post-game show.

"Everyone here at Sports Talk 950 is excited about partnering with the Philadelphia Soul," says Sports Talk 950 Station Manager Bob DeBlois. "We see it as a perfect match between two organizations that pride themselves on an entertaining product with passionate players and fans."

For the third consecutive season, Ari Wolfe will handle the play-by-play duties.

The Soul kickoff their third season in the AFL on January 29, 2006 when they host the Tampa Bay Storm at the Wachovia Center.
