83 Former USHL Players Contend for 2024 NCAA Men's Hockey Championship
April 10, 2024 - United States Hockey League (USHL) News Release
The NCAA Division I men's hockey Frozen Four gets underway Thursday and 83 United States Hockey League alumni dot the rosters of the four teams vying for the 2024 national championship.
Denver and Boston College both have 22 former USHL players on its roster, while Michigan has 21 and Boston University has 18.
Head coaches emanating from the USHL include Denver's David Carle (Green Bay Assistant Coach, 2012-14) and Michigan's Brandon Naurato played in the USHL with Cedar Rapids and Omaha (2003-05).
All 16 active USHL member clubs are represented by multiple players with USA Hockey NTDP 34) and the Tri-City Storm (9) leading the way.
