
67's Sign Draftee Daniel Walsh

(Ottawa, ON): The Ottawa 67's today announced they've come to terms with Daniel Walsh, their 6th round pick in the 2010 OHL Priority Selection Draft. Walsh, a 6-foot, 185 lb. forward, scored 24 goals and racked-up 56 points in 58 games with the Jr. "A" Grads of the CJHL this season. He'll practice with the team tomorrow and see his first game action on Friday night when the 67's host the Niagara Ice Dogs.
"Daniel plays a solid game at both ends of the ice," said 67's Coach and General Manager Chris Byrne. "He finishes checks, plays a good offensive game, and he'll give us some depth up-front leading into the playoffs."
After tonight's match-up in Kingston, the 67's tonight's match-up against the Frontenacs in Kingston). Walsh will be eligible to play during the final 5 games and throughout the playoffs.
