The Fayetteville Crossover got over the .500 mark by beating the Carolina Gladiators for the second time in two weeks. In the earlier meeting, the Crossover took 44 more shots than the Gladiators but could only squeak out a 3 point victory. In the latest meeting, the Crossover capitalized on a 30-shot advantage, winning the game 137-117. The Crossover led throughout due to strong inside play and a 57-23 rebounding advantage. The Gladiators got within 3 late in the first half, but the Crossover put the game away with a 38-27 run in the 3rd quarter and never looked back. The Crossover were led by Brandon Streeter's 33 points, Jamel Carpenter's 22 points, and Deshawn Mclean's 20 points and 23 rebounds. Travis Taylor had 26 points for the Gladiators. With the win, Fayetteville moves to the 4th, playoff-qualifying spot in the TRBL point standings. The Crossover travel to Cary on Friday, May 11th to take on the Invasion.
