26 Phantoms on Flyers Training Camp Roster

Adirondack Phantoms News Release
The Philadelphia Flyers, NHL parent-club to the Adirondack Phantoms, have released their complete roster for their 2013 Training Camp. Camp opens on Thursday, September 12 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.
The final camp roster includes a total of 63 players - 35 forwards, 22 defensemen and six goaltenders. 26 of those players were on the Adirondack Phantoms roster last season and many of those will be returning to Glens Falls this year as well. Additionally, there are some newcomers to the Flyers Training Camp who are likely to be assigned to the Phantoms this season.
Many of the younger players and upcoming Phantoms for this season have already gotten started via the Flyers Rookie Camp which ran from September 6-9.
The list of players from last year's Phantoms' squad participating in the Philadelphia Flyers training camp includes 17 forwards, 8 defensemen and 1 goalie.
Forwards: Jason Akeson, Brandon Alderson, Rob Bordson, Tyler Brown, Nick Cousins, Sean Couturier, Zack FitzGerald, Kyle Flanagan, Ben Holmstrom, Andrew Johnston, Scott Laughton, Matt Mangene, Derek Mathers, Tye McGinn, Marcel Noebels, Brayden Schenn, Eric Wellwood
Defensemen: Mark Alt, Marc-Andre Bourdon, Cullen Eddy, Erik Gustafsson, Tyler Hostetter, Matt Konan, Oliver Lauridsen, Brandon Manning
Goaltender: Cal Heeter
The 63 players will break apart into three separate groups and have on-ice sessions each day Thursday through Saturday at 8:30 AM, 10:30 AM and 12:30 PM. Many of the Phantoms players can also expect to get some opportunities in the Flyers' schedule of preseason games which begins Sunday, September 15 against the Toronto Maple Leafs in London, Ontario. Philadelphia will split into two squads on Monday, September 16 playing a home game vs. Washington and an away game at Toronto. Then it's a home game against the New York Rangers on Tuesday, September 17.
Philadelphia's camp then transitions to Lake Placid, NY from September 19-22. And some of the players will begin arriving to Glens Falls sometime in that weekend as well. Adirondack's first practice at the Glens Falls Civic Center is tentatively scheduled for Sunday, September 22.
The Adirondack Phantoms will play back-to-back preseason games the weeekend of September 28-29. Tickets are on sale now for Adirondack's home preseason game on Saturday, Septebmer 28 against the Albany Devils and are available for only $10 for adults and just $5 for kids. The Phantoms concludes their tune-up slate on the road on Sunday, September 29 at the Utica Comets in Rome, NY.
Adirondack's regular season opener is October 5 at the Hershey Bears.
Opening Night for the first home game of the season is Saturday, October 12 against the Hartford Wolf Pack.
