24 Current USHL Players Receive 2023 NHL Scouting Combine Invitations

The United States Hockey League will be well represented at the 2023 National Hockey League Scouting Combine with 24 current players receiving invitations to the event scheduled for June 4-10 at HarborCenter in Buffalo, N.Y.
The NHL Scouting Combine gives the 32 NHL teams physical and medical assessments of the top prospects ahead of the 2023 draft at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on June 28-29. A total of 106 players are scheduled to attend this year's Combine.
Included amongst the invitees are this year's USHL Goaltender of the Year in Jacob Fowler, who led Youngstown to the 2023 Clark Cup as league playoff champions. Forward Cole Knuble, who helped the Fargo Force to the Anderson Cup as the USHL regular-season champions and was named MVP in helping lead the U.S. to Gold at the World Junior A Challenge in Ontario in December, also received an invite as did USA Hockey NTDP forward William Smith, who is rated No. 3 among North American skaters and is one of 13 players from USA Hockey's National Team Development Program Under-18 team invited to the combine.
