2019-2020 Season Suspended Indefinitely
March 20, 2020 - National Basketball League of Canada (NBL Canada)
St. John's Edge News Release
The National Basketball League of Canada's Board of Directors met yesterday and decided it was in the best interest of our players, coaches, officials, staff and fans to suspend the remainder of the 2019-2020 season until further notice. While we are all deeply disappointed as basketball fans, we must understand as citizens the necessity of this decision. At this time we are focused on ensuring our players and staff can safely return home. Information regarding ticket purchases will be provided in the coming days. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for all your support so far this season. We look forward to returning to the hardwood and enjoying more St. John's Edge basketball with you in the near future.â£
