
2014 USHL Clark Cup Final - Game Two Recap

The Indiana Ice evened the best-of-five 2014 Clark Cup Final series with the Waterloo Black Hawks after earning a 3-2 victory in double-overtime of Game Two. Joe Sullivan scored the winner for the Ice just under seven minutes into the second overtime. Defenseman Josh Jacobs netted his second goal in as many nights for the Ice. For the game, Indiana outshot Waterloo 62-34 as Black Hawks goaltender Cal Petersen made 59 saves, the third highest playoff game total in the USHL Tier 1 era (2002-present).
It was the seventh-longest playoff game for the USHL Tier 1 era, and longest since a triple-overtime game during the 2010 Clark Cup Final series.
The series now shifts to Indiana for Game Three on Friday, May 16th and Game Four on Saturday, May 17th.
