OLD ORCHARD BEACH, ME- The Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide of the Futures Collegiate Baseball League has announced the release of their 2013 Promotional Schedule.

Among the 27 home games this season for the Tide, several highlights stand out including ten give away nights including Raging Tide sun glasses, stress balls, magnetic schedules, book marks and glow necklaces to the first 200 fans in attendance on the specific dates.

"We really feel that it is important to give back to our fans, each night will have a special promotion and in many instances, fans will get to walk away with some exclusive Raging Tide items," said GM Taylor McCarthy.

At the conclusion of each game, kids will gain access to the field and be allowed to run the bases and meet Raging Tide players.

Other stand outs include Little League Nights which include pre-game ceremonies honoring Little League organizations in the community. These organizations include Old Orchard Beach, Saco, Scarborough, Arundel, as well as Biddeford Little League and Softball.

The Raging Tide will also be hosting their annual Recreation/Camp day this season during 2 home games (June 26th and July 24th). Last year's Recreation/Camp day saw a record attendance at The Ballpark for the Tide with nearly 1,300 spectators. Each Tuesday will be "Dollar Hot Dog Night" and each Saturday game will be known as "Shipyard Saturday" with $2.50 beer for specific beverages. Fans will have access to the Shipyard Beer tent sponsored by Jimmy The Greek's restaurant all season long and be allowed to bring alcoholic beverages in designated sections into the stands.

The action will begin on Thursday June 6th at 7:00pm as the Raging Tide host the Seacoast Mavericks. The Season Opener will also include the Old Orchard Beach Little League as well as Fireworks presented by RS Fireworks immediately following the game.

The Raging Tide will also be honoring Lucien Huot before the start of the Season Opener. Lucien was known as the "Voice of The Ballpark" and was a special member of the Raging Tide family and Old Orchard Beach community.
