2012 Mini Plans on Sale Now with Same Prices as 2011

CURVE, Pa. - The 14th season of Altoona Curve baseball opens April 5, but fans can grab seats for some of the best games of the 2012 season now by securing a mini plan. There are four convenient mini plan options for Curve fans to choose from for the 2012 campaign and the best part about them all is that they are the same price as 2011.
As in 2011, the four mini plan options for the 2012 season are: Half Season (35 games), Weekender (22 games), Eastern League Sampler (16 games) and Sundays (10 games).
The Half Season mini plan package allows fans to save $0.50 off the gate price per seat and also allows them 20% off merchandise all-season long. It features some of the most popular games including Opening Night (April 5th) and the Fourth of July game vs. Reading. Half season mini plans start at $157.50 per seat for an outfield reserve seat.
If you're looking to just fill your weekends with Curve baseball then the Weekender plan would be the right plan for you with 22 games all on Fridays and Saturdays. By purchasing a Weekender mini plan, fans save $0.25 off the per-ticket price and also receive a 10% discount in the merchandise store all-season long. Pricing for the Weekender mini plan starts at just $104.50 for an outfield reserve seat.
A taste of the Eastern League is what fans will get with the Eastern League Sampler mini plan package, featuring a total of 16 games against all the foes of the Eastern League. Fans will get to see the top prospects from each of the 11 other teams in the Eastern League throughout the 2012 season. Like the Weekender, fans that purchase the Eastern League Sampler save $0.25 off the gate price per ticket and will receive a 10% discount on merchandise throughout the season.
Fireworks are the theme of the Sundays mini plan package with eight of the 10 games being fireworks nights. Fans will be treated to two day games (April 22nd and May 6th) before the Curve, Pa. staple of Sunday Night Fireworks begin on Sunday, May 20th. Pricing for the Sundays mini plan package starts at just $50 for an outfield reserved seat.
In addition to mini plans, 2012 Altoona Curve Flex Books presented by McDonald's will go on sale November 18th to coincide with the opening of the Curve Store at the Logan Valley Mall. Each book contains 11 vouchers plus a coupon to McDonald's and puts the power of usage in your hands. Fans can use one ticket voucher for 11 different games, four ticket vouchers for one game or all 11 for one game. Pricing for Flex Books has also stayed the same for 2012 and begins at $60 for a Grandstand Flex Book.
Books can also be upgraded to Terrace level for a total cost of $80 or Diamond Club for a total cost of $100.

Information will also be available at the Curve Mall Store in Logan Valley Mall, which opens on Friday, November 18th. The store will once again be located on the lower level near Santa's Village (across from Orange Julius), and be open the same operating hours as the mall itself.
