2011 Fever Dance Team Unveiled

The Tri-Cities Fever is proud to announce its dance team for the upcoming season. This year's Fever girls are:

The 18 Fever girls were recently chosen after a series of tryouts that saw nearly 40 hopefuls show up. The Fever Girls have been a staple with the Fever organization since 2005, and expect to be a big part of it again this year; on and off the field.
"We are going to continue our routines on the field but also incorporate some more sideline type of performances," said coach Bobbi Buttars.
Also expect to see the Fever Girls in the community more this season. Buttars says one of the goals of this year's team is to become more visible in the community and take part in a variety of events throughout the Mid-Columbia.
"I'm excited for the 2011 season to begin," Buttars said. "This will be a fun year for us."
Your first chance to catch the Fever Girls in action for the 2011 season is Feb. 17 at the Toyota Center when the Fever play host to the Wenatchee Valley Venom in an exhibition game.
