2007 Training Camp Opens This Weekend

CLIFTON, NJ - The 2007 season gets underway on Saturday, April 28 as the Pride open their seventh training camp. Saturday's practice will be from 4 to 7 p.m. at Rutgers Preparatory School in Somerset, NJ. The team will practice on Sunday at St. Joseph High School in Metuchen. Sunday's practice will start at 10 a.m. All practices are free and open to the public.

Training camp stretches three weekends leading up to the May 18 home opener against the Washington Bayhawks. Currently the roster is expanded to 35 players. Following the three weekends the team must be reduced to the league-mandated roster size of 23, allowing three additional players to be included on the team's practice squad.

The 2007 squad returns it's top five scorers in Scott Urick, Jesse hubbard, Adam Doneger, Liam banks, and Conor Ford. The team will also feature it's full defensive unit intact for the first time since the 2002-2003 season.
