A Riptide game is a great place to hang out with your friends, family, or co-workers. Let us help you NOW to plan a special night for your group. Some ideas:

Softball or baseball team bonding night--your summer team will benefit from getting together with your teammates in a fun and relaxed atmosphere at the beginning or middle of your season End-of-the-season team party--have a night at the ballpark for your spring team in June, or for your summer team in August Adult league teams--come see how the major leaguers do it! Corporate nights--see your co-workers in a new light, have some fun with them outside the office, and if you bring enough people, qualify for substantial introductory corporate discounts Grab a group of coaches or umpires--what better way to have fun around softball and not have to be on duty? Date night--bring your significant other and have a great night out for less than you'd pay for most date nights. The possibilities are endless! Give us a call.

We are pleased to announce the start of our home season on Thursday June 8 at 7:05pm at Martin Softball Field in Lowell. Join us as we welcome 2005 regular season champs the Chicago Bandits for a series of four games on Thursday (7:05pm), Friday (7:05pm), Saturday (8:05pm), and Sunday (3:05pm). (Note these varying start times. The start times for ALL other games for the remainder of the season is 7:05pm.)

The New England Riptide congratulates Bandits star pitcher Jennie Finch on the upcoming arrival of her first child in April. We wish her and her husband, Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Casey Daigle, all the best with their happy event. Finch plans to return to the Bandits team in June.

Many of you have asked about spring clinics and lessons. At this time, Riptide players are not available, and any Riptide clinics being planned will be held during the summer. In the meantime, check out the Winchester Softball Clinic run by Michelle White and the WHS Softball Coaching Staff. A standout at BU, Michelle was Middlesex coach of the year in her rookie season and led Winchester to the State tournament for the first time in many years.
