Welcome to the 2006 pre-season! We are excited this year to be welcoming all six of the other NPF teams to our stadium, as well as the National Team of China. It's shaping up to be a great summer for softball fans!
2006 TICKETS
Tickets are now available for all 28 home games. Go to the tickets page of our website www.neriptide.com to order individual game, flex pack, and season tickets. Tickets are also available by phone at 866-474-7843.
Individual game tickets, $8 ($7 senior)
Flex pack--choose any four games, $28
Season ticket, $175
Group rates 10-24 people, $7. 25+ people, $6.50

OUR HOME OPENER
We are pleased to announce the start of our home season on Thursday June 8 at 7:05pm at Martin Softball Field in Lowell. Join us as we welcome 2005 regular season champs the Chicago Bandits for a series of four games on Thursday (7:05pm), Friday (7:05pm), Saturday (8:05pm), and Sunday (3:05pm). (Note these varying start times. The start times for ALL other games for the remainder of the season is 7:05pm.)
The New England Riptide congratulates Bandits star pitcher Jennie Finch on the upcoming arrival of her first child in April. We wish her and her husband, Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Casey Daigle, all the best with their happy event. Finch plans to return to the Bandits team in June.

CLINICS
Many of you have asked about spring clinics and lessons. At this time, Riptide players are not available, and any Riptide clinics being planned will be held during the summer. In the meantime, check out the Winchester Softball Clinic run by Michelle White and the WHS Softball Coaching Staff. A standout at BU, Michelle was Middlesex coach of the year in her rookie season and led Winchester to the State tournament for the first time in many years.

Instructors: Michelle White and WHS Softball Coaching Staff
The Winchester Softball Team is running a clinic designed for girls, ages 7 to 13, who want to learn softball fundamentals in a fun and nurturing environment. Our goal is to improve each player's skills, knowledge of the game, and confidence. Our staff and team will work with players in small groups to develop offensive and defensive skills. Areas of particular focus include pitching, hitting, bunting, fielding, positional play, catching, and throwing.
