MOBILE, AL- The Southern League's best prospects will play one month from today, in the 2005 Southern League All-Star Game at Hank Aaron Stadium, and the umpires for the Mid-Summer Classic have been announced. The Corona, CA native Hansen joined the Southern League in 2003. He is 29 years old.

"Umpires selected to work the annual All-Star Game consider it an honor to do so. They are chosen based upon seniority in the league, PBUC ranking, and their level of professionalism," said Lori Webb, Vice President/Operations for the Southern League. "Since the umpires are all crew chiefs, it also allows them to spend a couple of days together having fun, sharing stories and just enjoying the break in their routine."

The Southern League All-Star Game starts at 7:05 on Wednesday, July 13th at Hank Aaron Stadium. The game has the best players from the North Division play the best players from the South Division. All players will wear the uniforms of their Major League parent club.
