New York Sharks News Release
The New York Sharks have been making the rounds on the television circuit. Andra Douglas will be appearing on WNYW-5 New York this morning around 8:40am to present a quick football primer to the anchors in a segment called Football 101. The Sharks also appeared on WNBC-4 on Wednesday in a feature called Wednesday's Child. The segment will be aired again this Sunday at 7am. The program helps recruit adoptive families who can provide permanent and loving homes for New York City foster children.
A New Season
The 2004 football schedule has been released. The Sharks will remain in the Mid-Atlantic Division but joining them this season will be the New Hampshire Freedom and the Southwest Division Champion Chicago Force. The Sharks will also be playing the tough Atlanta Xplosion. This should ensure some really competitive games this season.
A New Ball
The IWFL has introduced a new red, white, and blue football to be used during the 2004 season. The football is by Nike and will enable fans to see the ball better during the game.
