New York Sharks News Release
The 2003 IWFL Championship Game is now available on VHS tape. This 2 hour tape shows all the hard hitting action in the biggest women's football game of the year between the Sacramento Sirens and the New York Sharks. The game took place on July 12th in New York City. Unfortunately, the Sharks were on the short side of the score but gave it their all. The tape is only $30 and is available from our on-line store, The Bait Shop.
Happy Anniversary
This week marks the 4th anniversary of the Sharks very first game. In 1999, the Long Island Sharks, a flag football team was challenged to a tackle football game by the Minnestoa Vixens. The Sharks accepted the challenge and won, 12-6. And thus the New York Sharks were born. For more about the first game, visit our history section.
