Bloomington Edge News Release
Bloomington, IL - The Bloomington Edge have signed three offensive additions to the team: WR Niko Lester, OL DT Thornton, and OL Darius Crosby.
Lester (6'2, 205) comes to the Edge for his rookie season in the United States after having experience throughout Europe playing for teams such as the New Yorker Lions, the Cologne Falcons, and the Seinajoki Crocodiles. He found success with the Crocodiles in 2016 when he had 560 yards receiving and 11 touchdowns. He looks to prove himself against American competition this upcoming season.
Thornton (6'5 340) comes to the edge after having some local football experience in the community. "I appreciate Coach Ismail and the Bloomington Edge for giving me another chance to play for my hometown city," Thornton said. "I look forward to putting in the work and bringing a championship to Bloomington."
