August 10, 2026 - CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The Appalachian League announced that Bluefield's Travis Peitz (George Washington) was named the 2026 Humanitarian of the Year. The Humanitarian of the Year Award is given to the Appalachian League player who made the most notable contributions to his community during the season through active participation in community service projects. June 15, 2026 - CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The Appalachian League announced that Bluefield's Enzo Infelise (Cincinnati) and Trey Reinburg were named Player and Pitcher of the Week, respectively, for the period of June 8-14. Infelise, 19, slashed .474/.583/.842 with a 1.425 OPS across five games for the Bluefield Ridge Runners en route to Player of the Week honors.
