Nori, Escobar Headed to Double-A Reading

September 9, 2025 - JERSEY SHORE, NJ - Two Phillies prospects and BlueClaws players are headed to Double-A Reading to finish the season! 2B Aroon Escobar and OF Dante Nori were added to Reading's roster on Tuesday morning prior to the start of their series with Somerset. Escobar, the #5 prospect in the system per MLB Pipeline, joined the BlueClaws on July 8th and hit .256 with four home runs and 19 RBIs in 46 games while adding 14 stolen bases. Sam Highfill Named SAL Pitcher of the Week

September 8, 2025 - JERSEY SHORE, NJ - BlueClaws RHP Sam Highfill, who threw six scoreless and hitless innings in the BlueClaws win on Thursday, was named South Atlantic League Pitcher of the Week in the final week of the regular season. Highfill, a right-hander from NC State, gave up just one walk and one hit batsman over his outing on Thursday, adding five strikeouts. Claws Fall 5-2 in Season Finale on Sunday

September 7, 2025 - JERSEY SHORE, NJ - Brooklyn scored four times in the ninth inning to rally and top the BlueClaws 5-2 on Sunday at ShoreTown Ballpark in the season finale. The loss snapped the BlueClaws five game win streak and was just the third game all year the BlueClaws lost after leading in the ninth inning.
