Pats Acquire Goaltender Hutchison from Warriors

November 1, 2025 - Regina, Sask. - The Regina Pats announced today that they have acquired 2006-born goaltender Matthew Hutchison from the Moose Jaw Warriors in exchange for a sixth-round pick in the 2028 WHL Prospects Draft. "With Taylor Tabashniuk sidelined for what looks like 4-6 weeks or longer, this move gives us important depth in net," said Pats General Manager Dale Derkatch. October 31, 2025 - Moose Jaw, SK - With the game tied 2-2 early in the second period, the Regina Pats scored three unanswered goals to earn a 5-2 victory over the Moose Jaw Warriors at Temple Gardens Centre on Halloween. The Warriors opened the scoring on their second power-play of the first period, when Aiden Ziprick worked the blue line and slid a pass to Pavel McKenzie, who set up Lynden Lakovic.
