Samenas Commits to Nipissing
August 13, 2025 - Johnstown Tomahawks forward Markas Samenas has announced his commitment to continue his hockey career at Nipissing University.
The 6'5" Swedish forward appeared in 25 games for Johnstown after being acquired in a three-team trade involving the Elmira Aviators and Maryland Black Bears. Over the course of the season, Samenas totaled 10 goals and 17 assists in 53 games between Maryland and Johnstown.

July 17, 2025 - The Johnstown Tomahawks are establishing a new tradition to honor local hockey legends by naming all eight Main Camp tryout teams after distinguished figures from Johnstown's rich hockey history. Houli Named Head Coach of the Johnstown Tomahawks
July 11, 2025 - Tomahawks Hockey Partners LLC. is pleased to announce the hiring of Adam Houli as the Head Coach of the Johnstown Tomahawks. Houli is the fourth Head Coach in the franchise's 14th season.
