Chiefs Drop Home Finale to Americans, 2-1

March 17, 2018 - SPOKANE, Wash. - The Spokane Chiefs dropped their fourth game in a row in their regular season home finale on Friday night, 2-1 to the visiting Tri-City Americans. The Chiefs, who were without forwards Kailer Yamamoto and Zach Fischer, struggled to find the back of the net despite firing 35 shots on goal. Chiefs Announce 2017-18 Team Award Winners

March 16, 2018 - SPOKANE, Wash. - Eight different players were recognized by the Spokane Chiefs in a ceremony prior to their regular season home finale versus the Tri-City Americans on Friday night at Spokane Arena. Kailer Yamamoto was named the Chiefs' Player of the Year while defenseman Ty Smith earned a pair of honors. Despite playing in only 40 of the Chiefs' 69 games entering Friday, Yamamoto ranks fourth on the team in scoring with 64 points, including 21 goals and 43 assists. His 1.60 points per game ... Chiefs' First Two Home Playoff Game Dates Announced

March 16, 2018 - SPOKANE, Wash. - The Spokane Chiefs announced on Friday afternoon that their first two home games of the 2018 WHL Playoffs will be played on Wednesday, March 28 and Thursday, March 29 at Spokane Arena. The Chiefs' opponent has yet to be determined between Portland, Everett and Kelowna. Both games are scheduled for 7:05 p.m. starts.
