Rockford Resigns Hur; Adds Pair of Pitchers

January 21, 2013 - Loves Park, Ill. - Rockford's professional baseball team has signed outfielder Michael Hur to a contract extension and signed pitchers Chuck Lukanen and Tim Tucker for the 2013 season. Hur hit .298 last year and tied Manager Rich Austin's club record for home runs in a season with 15. The outfielder also collected 57 RBIs, 110 hits and 18 doubles. January 14, 2013 - LOVES PARK, Ill. - As the 2013 roster continues to take shape, Manager Rich Austin has announced the singings of outfielder Logan Lotti, infielder Cameron Sherrer and left-handed pitcher Chris Kirk. Lotti, a Chico, Calif. native, spent most of last season, his first in professional baseball, with the Las Cruces Vaqueros of the Pecos League. RiverHawks Add a Pair of Left-Handers for 2013

December 19, 2012 - LOVES PARK, Ill. - The RiverHawks have added left-handed pitchers Nick Cicio and Darrin Tew from Southern Illinois to complete an August 10 trade that sent outfielder Javier Herrera to the Miners. "I think this is a really good move for us," said Manager Rich Austin. "It adds quality arms with championship experience and we look forward to having them on our staff for 2013."
