Kids Get in Free on Opening Day

February 24, 2026 - Portland, Maine - The Portland Sea Dogs have announced that kids can attend Opening Day for free when attending with a paying adult. The Sea Dogs' home opener is set for Tuesday, April 7th, at 4:00 PM against the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Blue Jays) at Delta Dental Park at Hadlock Field. For the first time since the Sea Dogs' inaugural season in 1994, Opening Day will be a day game, starting at 4:00 PM. Gates will open at 2:30 PM. UMaine Baseball to Play at Delta Dental Park on April 29

January 28, 2026 - Orono, Maine - The University of Maine baseball program has announced that it will meet Northeastern at Delta Dental Park at Hadlock Field in Portland, Maine on Wednesday, April 29. Maine's last appearance at Hadlock Field came in 2012 when the Black Bears hosted Boston College. Prior to that game, the Black Bears took on UMass at Hadlock Field in 1998. Registration Now Open for Mother's Day 5K

January 20, 2026 - Portland, Maine - Registration is now open for the Portland Sea Dogs' Mother's Day 5K road race. The race held in conjunction with the Maine Track Club benefits Maine breast cancer patients and research, with the proceeds going to the American Cancer Society. The race will be held on Mother's Day, Sunday, May 10th at 9:15 AM. The race is open to the public. Walkers and wheelchair racers are welcome as well. Epperson Returns for Fifth Season as Sea Dogs Manager

January 16, 2026 - Portland, Maine - The Portland Sea Dogs, in conjunction with the Boston Red Sox, have announced their coaching staff for the 2026 season. Manager Chad Epperson will lead the Sea Dogs for his fifth year, joined by returning Pitching Coach Juan Rivera and Assistant Pitching Coach Isaiah Paige.
