December 22, 2025 - BASEBALL Pioneer League: The independent Pioneer League announced its 2026 season will feature 12 teams each playing a 96-game schedule from May 19 through September 6, 2026. The league had 12 teams last season but the Rocky Mountain Vibes (Colorado Springs), Grand Junction (CO) Jackalopes and the league-operated Colorado Springs Sky Sox, which completed the 2025 schedule of the Northern Colorado Owlz (Windsor) team that dropped out during the season, will not return. December 19, 2025 - CHICAGO, Il. - The Hounds secured the signing of promising US prospect Brandon Harvey on a two-year deal, the team announced today. The 6'6", 250 pound lock makes the move to Chicago after spending the previous two seasons in Southern California with the Legion. Hounds Add Another Capped Eagle to Front Row Stable

December 18, 2025 - CHICAGO, Il. - The Chicago Hounds have agreed to terms with loosehead prop Jake Turnbull on a one-year deal, the team announced today. Turnbull, 6-2 and 260 pounds, joins the Hounds after spending the previous two seasons with the Carolina Anthem. The eight-year Major League Rugby veteran brings more test level experience to the Chicago front row, which recently secured the contract extension of fellow loosehead prop Fakaosifolau Pifeleti. December 18, 2025 - FISHERS, Ind. - Women's college volleyball reaches its zenith this week with the NCAA D1 Women's Volleyball Championship taking place in Kansas City, along with the annual American Volleyball Coaches Association convention.
