Belmont Pitcher Maya Johnson Signs with the OKC Spark

May 26, 2026 - After leaving her mark on Belmont Softball, pitcher Maya Johnson's career will continue with the Oklahoma City Spark. Johnson was the third overall pick in the 2026 Athletes Unlimited Softball League College Draft, and now that her collegiate career has come to an end, she has inked a rookie contract with the Spark. Johnson led the Bruins to the Tuscaloosa Regional after winning their second consecutive Missouri Valley Conference Championship. May 25, 2026 - Chicago Hounds delivered a statement performance at SeatGeek Stadium, running in nine tries to dismantle Seattle 57-17 and emphatically extend their unbeaten start to the 2026 season. The Hounds were in front within three minutes, Jake Kinneeveauk finishing off an early assault, and the tone was set from there. Legion Wallop DC

May 24, 2026 - California Legion put on a dominant home display to dismantle Old Glory DC 42-10 at Heart Health Park, with Coby Miln pulling the strings all afternoon and converting six of the Legion's six tries. Old Glory actually drew first blood through John Rizzo on 14 minutes, but California hit back almost immediately. Corbin Smith opened his account on four minutes - then added a second on 47 - and Jason Damm crossed on 23 to give the Legion a commanding 21-5 lead at the break. May 24, 2026 - New England Free Jacks picked up a comfortable road win over Anthem RC, running out 20-7 victors to breathe life into their season with a badly-needed victory. Oscar Lennon got the Free Jacks off the mark with a try on 30 minutes, Joel Hodgson converting to send the visitors into the interval 7-0 up. Anthem responded early in the second half through Makeen Alikhan, Luke Carty's conversion levelling the scores at seven apiece just after the hour mark looked a possibility.
