Scrap Yard Dawgs Select Five from Expansion Draft

November 30, 2015 - Nashville, TN - November 30, 2015 - National Pro Fastpitch announced today the Scrap Yard Dawgs have finalized selections of five players through the NPF Expansion Draft. The five players, from three separate 2015 NPF affiliate teams, now have contractual rights committed to the Scrap Yard Dawgs, making them the first rostered players of the league's newest franchise. PRO Rugby Launches First Professional League in North America

November 23, 2015 - NEW YORK - For the first time, North American rugby union fans and players will have a professional league, the Professional Rugby Organization (PRO Rugby) announced today. Exclusively sanctioned by USA Rugby and World Rugby, competition will begin in April 2016 with six teams in major metropolitan areas in the Northeast, the Rocky Mountains and California.
