Ottawa Native Liam Aston Scores in NLL Debut
February 15, 2026 - ROCHESTER - Black Bears top prospect Liam Aston made his NLL debut on Saturday night in Rochester, scoring a goal and adding an assist in a 10-8 win over the Knighthawks.
Aston grew up playing minor lacrosse in Ottawa and later played Jr. B for the Nepean Knights from 2022-2025. He was called up to the Jr. A Toronto Beaches last summer and finished seventh in OJLL scoring with 41 goals and 75 assists for 116 points.

February 14, 2026 - Calgary, AB - The Calgary Roughnecks earned a big win tonight over the Philadelphia Wings by a score of 10-9 at the Scotiabank Saddledome.
The Roughnecks fell into penalty trouble in the first quarter and trailed after 15 minutes of play by a score of 4-2. Riley Loewen and Tanner Cook each found the back of the net in the first frame.

February 14, 2026 - Kyle Jackson, who signed as a free agent on Thursday, led the team with a seven-point game that included the game-winning goal as the Philadelphia Wings bucked a six-game losing streak with a 13-11 road victory over the Buffalo Bandits on Saturday night at KeyBank Center in Buffalo. Michael Sowers and Brennan O'Neill each bagged four goals for the Wings, who pulled away from a back-and-forth battle in the final four minutes to take the win.
