ERIE, Pennsylvania - The Santa Cruz Warriors (8-8) defeated the Erie BayHawks (4-11) 102-74 on Friday night at Erie Insurance Arena.

Scott Wood led the sharp-shooting onslaught behind a game-high 23 points on five-of-eight shooting from beyond-the-arc for the Warriors. Cameron Jones had 17 points, while Damian Jones, on assignment from the Golden State Warriors, added 10 points and nine rebounds.

Erie was paced by Branden Dawson with 20 points on 9-of-11 shooting from the field. Cliff Alexander grabbed a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds.

In the opening half, the Warriors shot 47% from the field and 54% from three-point range, holding the BayHawks to 34% team shooting en route to a season-low 41 points. Cameron Jones and Scott Wood combined for 30 first-half points to help Santa Cruz to a 19-point cushion heading into the break.

Coming out of the locker room, the Warriors grabbed their largest lead of the night (30), while the BayHawks put up a mere 12 points in the third quarter.

Though Erie outscored the Warriors in the fourth, 21-19 behind a healthy 59% team shooting effort, it was not enough to question Santa Cruz's imminent and dominant victory.
