UIF Announces Fan Voting & All-Star Game

EVANSVILLE, IN: The Evansville BlueCats of United Indoor Football are excited to announce the first-ever UIF All-Star Classic sponsored by Casey's General Store. The most popular players from all UIF teams will participate in the game, which will be divided by the Eastern and Western conferences. The All-Star players selected from the BlueCats will be participating with the Eastern conference team.
UIF Executive Director & Commissioner, Dakota Crow, said of the event, "This will be a great opportunity for our coaches, players, and the league overall to showcase our level of talent and professionalism." The UIF has become the premier developmental league and has sent several players to the Arena Football League, Canadian Football League and the NFL.
The Casey's All-Star Classic will be held on August 16-18th in Bloomington, Illinois. The event will include several days of activities for players and fans capped off by the Casey's All-Star Classic game at 7:05pm on Saturday, August 18th at U.S. Cellular Coliseum. A limited number of tickets have been reserved exclusively for BlueCats fans. Please call (812) 437-CATS or stop by the office for more information or to make ticket reservations.
Players for the All-Star Classic will be chosen by coaches, the media and fan voting. Only those fans receiving the weekly UIF Newsletter will be eligible to vote. To receive the newsletter, register on-line at www.unitedindoorfootball.com/league/newsletter. Ballots will be sent out to all recipients of the newsletter during the first week of July; you must be registered before then to vote.
Evansville BlueCats Head Coach John Hart said, "This is really exciting thing that the league is putting together and I'm excited about the opportunity for our players to participate in something like this. I absolutely encourage all of our fans to register to vote for the All-Star team and help make sure our team is well represented in the game."
