Thunderbolts Take On The Demolition

March 30, 2007 - American Indoor Football Association (AIFA)
Lakeland ThunderBolts News Release

The 4 - 1 Lakeland Thunderbolts continue their championship drive taking on the Danville IL Demolition Thursday night in Danville. Danville 1-4 is coming off a 48 - 45 upset victory Thursday night over the 1-6 Erie Freeze.

"Danville is a talented team that has been coming up short so far this season" said Head Coach Teddy Keaton. "In this league you cannot take any team lightly" Keaton said.

The Thunderbolts had an off week after soundly beating the Florence Phantoms 54 - 18.

"This off week is a positive for us". "It allows our injured players time to heal and our coaching staff a little time away to rejuvenate". "We are about to enter the tough part of our schedule where all the teams we play are in the upper part of the division". "We will take it as we always do one game at a time" Keaton said.

The fans can catch Thursday's game by going to the Thunderbolt website and clicking on the AIFA network icon.
