
Swarm to Bring in New Head Coach for 2004 Season

Cincinnati, OH- The Cincinnati Swarm today announced that Chris MacKeown will not return as head coach for the 2004 season. A replacement for MacKeown will be announced in the coming weeks.
"We feel the need to head in a different direction with our leadership as we pursue our goal of an ArenaCup championship for the city Cincinnati," said Swarm President and CEO Mark Hamister.
MacKeown, who was introduced as the Swarm's first head coach on November 14, 2002, guided the first-year Swarm to a 7-9 record.
