SAN JOSE, Calif. (July 6, 2008) - The San Jose SaberCats will host the Grand Rapids Rampage in the Arena Football League's American Conference Championship game on Saturday, July 12 at 12:30 p.m. (PT).
The SaberCats will host the Conference Championship game for a third straight season following their 64-51 win over the Colorado Crush on July 5. The sixth-seeded Rampage advanced by upsetting the top-seeded Chicago Rush, 58-41, on Sunday.
San Jose will be playing in the semifinal round of the AFL playoffs for the eighth time in the last nine seasons and will be looking for its fourth trip to the league's championship game.
The winner of Saturday's game will advance to ArenaBowl XXII to be played Sunday, July 27 in New Orleans.
Tickets for the American Conference Championship game go on sale Monday, July 7, and can be purchased through any Northern California Ticketmaster outlet, by phone at (408) 998-TIXS (8497), online at ticketmaster.com or by visiting the box office at the HP Pavilion at San Jose.
The SaberCats are offering a special Family Four Pack for the Conference Championship which includes four tickets, four hot dogs, four bags of chips, four drinks and four desserts for only $64. The Family Four Pack can only be purchased through Ticketmaster.
Select upper level seating at HP Pavilion will also be on sale for $5.
