Raleigh Rebels News Release
RALEIGH NC - The Raleigh Rebels of the American Indoor Football League will host their first inter-squad scrimmage, which is open to the public, at the Factory Icehouse in Wake Forest, Sunday February 12. The Rebels, who were forced to miss Saturday's practices due to inclement weather, will get to finally suit up and butt heads. "Running the plays and getting more refined is good, but at this stage you have to really see who can bang heads with the big boys," commented Rebel's skipper Steven G. Folmar. "Plus, with the bad weather it is nice we can get after it inside on the turf finally."
The Rebels will take the field at 9:45am with the scrimmage expected to start about 10:20a.m. The Rebels will also have a second practice Sunday afternoon at the public parks behind Wake Forest- Rolesville Middle School at 3p.m. on Sunday. Come out and catch a little bit of the action with Raleigh Rebels professional indoor football.
