Phantoms Make Coaching Change
March 25, 2006 - National Indoor Football League (NIFL)
Palm Beach Phantoms News Release
The Palm Beach Phantoms made a coaching change on Wednesday after former Head Coach Ray Berger resigned, to continue teaching and coaching high school football.
"Ray is a great guy and we wish him the best," stated Mike Linn, Palm Beach Phantoms Owner. "I know we did not have the start we wanted, but this change had nothing to do with him personally, nor with his coaching abilities. Anyone who has played or coached at this level knows the time and effort that is required, and Ray definitely put that time and effort in."
Replacing Ray Berger, will be Ryan Brady who was the Offensive Coordinator while Ray was at the helms.
Also making the trip to Greensboro with the Phantoms is Jim âCrash' Jensen, former Miami Dolphins player. Mr. Jensen will add a vast amount of professional football experience to the front office of the Phantoms, as new General Manager.
"We are excited to have âCrash' Jensen as part of our organization," said Mike Linn. "It's a sign of things to come."
