
NEW ORLEANS PELICANS SIGN JORDAN CRAWFORD TO 10-DAY CONTRACT

NEW ORLEANS - The New Orleans Pelicans announced the team has signed free agent guard Jordan Crawford to a 10-day contract. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Crawford, 6-5, 195, most recently played for the Grand Rapids Drive of the NBA Development League, appearing in 34 games this season while averaging 23.5 points on .470 shooting from the floor, including .372 from three-point range, 3.3 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.2 steals in 29.8 minutes per game.
Drafted 27th overall out of Xavier in 2010 by New Jersey, Crawford has appeared in 257 career regular season games with Atlanta, Washington, Boston and Golden State, averaging 12.2 points, 2.6 rebounds and 3.2 assists in 24.7 minutes per contest.
Crawford will wear #4 for the Pelicans and is available for tonight's game in Utah. New Orleans' roster stands at 15.
