The Mystics (9-9) are on a five-game road trip and will take on the San Antonio Stars (4-13) tonight. The Mystics are 5-3 on the road this season and have won seven out of their last ten games.

First Quarter Pressure: For the second consecutive game, the Mystics started the game in dominant fashion, outscoring the San Antonio Stars 24-7 in the first quarter and holding the Stars to an opponent season low of 27 first half points in their June 29 game. This came just one game after holding the Minnesota Lynx to 30 first half points and leading 33-13 in the first quarter on June 26. The Mystics went on to win both games by scoring margins of 17 (San Antonio) and 24 (Minnesota).

Time After (Over)Time Friday marked a franchise tie for the Mystics as they played their fourth overtime game of the season, an 86-84 loss to Chicago. Tayler Hill scored a career-high 25 points, while Kia Vaughn added another 20 and Emma Meesseman contributed 12 points and five assists.
