Canton Charge forward Nick Minnerath and guard Quinn Cook were recognized by the NBA Development League with honors for their play during the 2015-16 season. Minnerath was named Second Team All-NBA D-League, while Cook was named to the League's Third Team as well as First Team All-Rookie.

Minnerath played in 49 games (10 starts) and was second on the team in scoring, averaging 18.5 points on .508 shooting and 6.9 rebounds in 29.9 minutes per game. He helped Canton tie a franchise record 31 wins this season after arriving as an affiliate player from the Cleveland Cavaliers. He averaged 17.8 points and 7.8 rebounds in four playoff games after posting a team-high 10 double-doubles in the regular season.

Cook played in 43 games (37 starts) and led Canton in scoring with 19.6 points on .466 shooting with 5.4 assists, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.2 steals in 33.7 minutes per game. The NBA D-League Rookie of the Year improved his averages in the postseason to 23.5 points on .514 shooting with 7.3 assists. 4.8 rebounds, and 1.5 steals in 36.5 minutes per game. Cook posted one of two triple-doubles for Canton this season with 20 points, 13 assists, and 11 rebounds in a win over the Raptors 905 on February 20th.
