Launch Take off in Charlotte, Score 21 Goals in Win

CHARLOTTE, NC. - The Launch never looked back after being down 2-1 early in the contest, and score 21 goals to beat the Charlotte Hounds 21-17.

Attackmen Dylan Molloy, Kieran McArdle and Jules Heningburg combined for 20 points on the night to lead the team to victory. Goalie Austin Kaut also had a memorable game, recording his 650th career save, and 17 saves on the night. With a well balanced and smart offensive play from the Launch, eight players were able to contribute in the victory. This is the fourth win of the season for the team and keeps them in playoff contention as the final five games of the season will be played out through July.

All-Star midfielder needed three points before the game to tie Launch legend Casey Powell for second place in franchise history for points scored. In the game, Buczek scored four points giving him sole possession, right behind teammate Kieran McArdle on the list.

OTHER NOTES

The Launch now have their first bye week of the season before coming back to FAU Stadium in July. Launch players Kieran McArdle, Connor Buczek and Austin Kaut will head to Boston for the MLL All-Star Game, Thursday June 28 as they play Tucker Durkin and Team USA.
