
Kings Recall Papagiannis from Reno Bighorns

RENO, Nev. ---- The Sacramento Kings have recalled rookie center Georgios Papagiannis from the Reno Bighorns of the NBA D-League, the team announced today.
The 13th overall selection in the 2016 NBA Draft, Papagiannis is averaging 13.4 points (.506 FG%, .500 3pt%, .750 FT%), 8.0 rebounds and 2.5 blocks in 32.0 minutes per contest in 22 games (19 starts) for Reno, including a season-high six blocks against the Raptors 905 on Friday night. Ranked 2nd in the D-League in blocks (55 total), the 7-2 center has paced the Bighorns in scoring twice and in rebounds on five occasions. He has also recorded six double-doubles this season.
Papagiannis is expected to be in uniform for the Kings this afternoon against the Utah Jazz at Golden 1 Center.
