Georgia Force Fall to the Orlando Predators 27-24

Orlando, FL (April 20, 2012) - The Georgia Force fell to the the Orlando Predators with a final game score of 27-24 in the Arena Football League's Week 7 contest held in the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida.
Orlando scored the first touchdown of the game, when Justin Roper rushed for 11 yards with 12 minutes left in the first quarter. The Force struck back with a touchdown strike from R.J. Archer to Larry Shipp for 21 yards with 6:40 to go in the first quarter. The Preds followed up with a touchdown from Roper to Eley, Jr. Mark Lewis' field goal attempt for Orlando was good with 2:09 left in the second quarter.
To begin the third quarter, the Force marched down the field for a quick score when Archer found Brandon McRae for a 2 yard touchdown. The Preds struck back with a quick score from Roper to Eley, Jr. with 11 minutes left in the third quarter. The Preds forced the Force into a field goal with 4:26 left in the third quarter, resulting in a 7 point lead. An interception by Tracy Belton led to a Mykel Benson touchdown catch for 31 yards.
TheForce will be home next weekend, facing the Arizona Rattlers at the Arena at Gwinnett Center in Duluth, Georgia on Sunday, April 29th at 3:00 p.m. EST.
