In 2012, Brooks transferred once again this time to Minnesota State University, where Brooks finished the 2012 season with 53 tackles, three interceptions, two defended passes and two forced fumbles. For his efforts, he earned All-NSIC South Division Second Team honors in 2012, and helped lead the Mavericks to the semifinals of the NCAA Tournament. Brooks brings the HAVOK indoor football experience with time spent in the IFL with Bemidji and in the AIF with the Rochester Raiders.
