Louisville Fire News Release
Louisville, KY-The Louisville Fire Arena Football team will be hosting its first ever skills camp this summer for all high school aged players. This elite camp will be held June 30, 2008 through July 2, 2008, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for players in skilled positions focusing on the rushing and passing game. The camp will be conducted by Fire Head Coach Tommy Johnson with assistance from multiple NFL, Fire and collegiate players who will serve as counselors and speakers throughout the week. Each player will receive guidance on specific positions with one-on-one and seven-on-seven drills, along with a last day tournament for all the players. The camp is a great way for kids in the area to learn skills and instructions from some of the best players and coaches around.
The daily camp schedule consists of a guest speaker, individual and team drills, as well as position and team meetings. Each player will also be supplied with daily lunches and snacks for the length of the camp. Individuals will be offered the chance of a lifetime to work alongside great college players, NFL players, and top notch coaches to learn the knowledge and skills that will improve their game that they could not receive elsewhere in the area. Players will also be given the option to work out at multiple positions, both on offense and defense, if they wish.
