ESPNU to Televise 12 Regular-Season NBA D-League Games

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. - ESPNU will televise 12 NBA Development League (NBA D-League) regular-season games in 2016. The defending NBA D-League Champion Santa Cruz Warriors will lead the way with four appearances on the ESPNU schedule, starting on Friday, Jan. 22, when they host the Rio Grande Valley Vipers at 8 p.m. PST. All NBA D-League telecasts on ESPNU will also be streamed via WatchESPN.

The Jan. 22 game will be highlighted by the 2nd annual "Pajama Night" where fans are encouraged to wear pajamas to the game as well as bring a new pair to donate to Project Pajamas. The project aims to bring a sense of comfort to children in a time of crisis for those in homeless shelters, transitional housing, or other 'out of home' settings in Santa Cruz. Some of the organizations that benefit from Project Pajamas are the Pajaro Valley Shelter, Sienna House, Haven of Hope and Rebele Family Homeless Shelter.
