
Erie QB Smetanka to Workout with Arizona Rattlers of the Arena Football League

Erie Explosion quarterback Aaron Smetanka will fly to Arizona next week to workout with the Arizona Rattlers of the Arena Football League. Smetanka will have an opportunity to showcase his talent for the league leading Rattlers (14-1) who are 2-time defending AFL Champions and recently compiled an 18 game winning streak.
Smetanka led Erie to back to back CIFL Championships and owns a (21-2) record as a starter for the Explosion. The Saint Vincent College product was named the 2014 CIFL Offensive MVP as he led Erie to the top ranked offense in the league for the second consecutive season and passed for 33 touchdowns with only one interception.
During Smetanka's rookie season in 2013, he led Erie to an undefeated season (12-0) and the 2013 CIFL Championship.
