Erie Explosion News Release
As of Monday, January 18, 2016 Professional Football of Erie, Inc. (The Erie Explosion) will be suspending football operations for the 2016 season. It is regrettable that we will be unable to play during this season, the safety of our players is the top priority of the Erie Explosion.
After being unable to secure medical staff for the season, it was decided the best interest was to temporarily suspend all football operations. We hope to bring action packed, family and fan friendly indoor football back to Erie for the 2017 season.
We would like to thank all of our dedicated fans, sponsors, volunteers, players and staff for their support over the years.
A press conference will be schedule to answer any questions.
