D-Fenders Unveil Home-And-Home Preseason Series with Northern Arizona

EL SEGUNDO - The Los Angeles D-Fenders have announced a home-and-home preseason series with the Northern Arizona Suns, a partnership that will include one game this year and one game prior to the 2017-18 season.
The series will begin with the defending Western Conference champions battling the Phoenix affiliate at 12 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 6, from the Prescott Valley Events Center. The preseason tilt will be the first contest on the home court of a newly-formed Northern Arizona team. Formerly the Bakersfield Jam, the Suns relocated to Prescott Valley at the conclusion of the 2015-16 campaign.
Admission to the preseason event will be free of charge.
In 2017, it will be Northern Arizona who will travel to El Segundo for the first contest at the UCLA Health Training Center, a 120,000 square-foot facility that will become the official headquarters of the Lakers and D-Fenders organizations prior to the 2017-18 season.
The D-Fenders will open the 2016-17 regular season with a home contest against the Iowa Energy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 11, at the Toyota Sports Center.
