
D-Fenders Acquire First Round Pick

EL SEGUNDO - The Los Angeles D-Fenders have acquired the returning player rights to Jamil Wilson and a 2017 first round draft pick from the Texas Legends, General Manager Nick Mazzella announced today.
As a part of the deal, the D-Fenders added Quincy Acy off waivers and immediately traded him to Texas, along with a 2017 third round draft pick.
Wilson currently plays for the Auxilium Torino club in Italy. He appeared in four games for the Los Angeles Lakers at the 2016 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, averaging 4.0 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.0 steals in 19.3 minutes per game. A former forward at Marquette, Wilson played two seasons for the Golden Eagles alongside current D-Fenders guard Vander Blue.
