
D-Fenders Acquire Dejuan Blair from Texas

EL SEGUNDO - The Los Angeles D-Fenders have acquired center DeJuan Blair from the Texas Legends in exchange for a 2017 fourth round draft pick, General Manager Nick Mazzella announced today.
A veteran of 424 career NBA games, the 6-foot-7 Blair has career averages of 6.8 points and 5.1 rebounds per game with San Antonio, Dallas and Washington. Meanwhile, he has averaged 10.7 points, 5.5 rebounds and 16.2 minutes through six games with the Texas Legends this season, his first in the NBA D-League.
Blair, a former standout at the University of Pittsburgh, was a consensus First-Team All-American and co-Big East Player of the Year in 2009. He averaged 13.6 points and 10.7 rebounds in two seasons at Pitt before being selected by the Spurs with the 37th overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft.
