The Canton Charge, presented by SecureData 365 and powered by the Cleveland Cavaliers, were defeated by the Sioux Falls Skyforce, 117-85, in Game 2 of the 2016 Eastern Conference Finals. The loss eliminates Canton from the playoffs as Sioux Falls advances to the 2016 NBA Development League Finals.

The Skyforce led wire-to-wire for their eleventh-straight win at home dating back to the regular season. 2016 D-League MVP Jarnell Stokes led all scorers with 24 points on 9-of-11 shooting in 19 minutes. Keith Benson posted a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds in 27 minutes off the bench. Sioux Falls will look to capture the 2015-16 Championship after setting the League record for wins in a 40-10 regular season campaign.

Antoine Agudio led six Canton players in double figures with 14 points and five assists in 39 minutes. Jon Horford and Nick Minnerath each added 11 points and eight rebounds apiece. Cleveland Cavaliers draft rights player Sir'Dominic Pointer posted 13 points, eight rebounds, three steals, and two blocks in 37 minutes.

Canton ended the regular season at 31-19, matching a franchise record for wins set last season under Head Coach Jordi Fernandez. The Charge are the only team in the NBA D-League to have qualified for the playoffs five consecutive years.
